Authors of books I came across in my childhood.

Use the search field (and choose "author" from the drop-down menu) to look for an author's name, besides just using links on this list. Authors often have multiple profiles/links on open library, and it's easy to miss some of their books if you only view one profile. (And some titles aren't assigned an author, so searching for a desired title may be more helpful if you don't see a 2-week borrow on an author's profile.)
