This book is a tips, hints, review, strategy, and walkthrough guide to 24 Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) games, there are also 24 short tips for other games. The book describes each game in its main section by; 'Type', the name of the 'Manufacturer', the games 'Objective', the 'Layout' of the game, it's 'Hero', the players 'Enemies', in game 'Menu', the games 'Scoring', 'Beginner Strategy', 'Advanced Strategy', 'Par' a goal most players can reach, 'Training Tips' to help the player begin playing the game, and finally a 'Rating' (using A+ to F grade ratings) for the games 'Challenge', 'Graphics', 'Sound' and 'Simulation'. Occasionally passwords to more advanced levels are also presented. Although some of the "Zelda II: The Adventure of Link" section was previously published in the first "How to Win at Nintendo Games" ISBN: 0312913419 most of it has been rewritten and expanded into a complete walkthrough of the entire game, its ratings have also been slightly changed. There are no screenshots for the games.
