Work Description

Your class is visiting the Statue of Liberty, and your first stop is the museum in its pedestal. One picture there shows a boatful of immigrants in 1907-and one of the kids in the photo looks exactly like you! Suddenly the floor lurches strangely, and when you catch your breath you're standing on the deck of a huge ship in the middle of the ocean. It's 1907 and you're a passenger on your way to the United States!

If you go below deck to meet some of the other immigrants, turn to page 40. If you go to the front of the ship to meet the passengers who are traveling first-class, turn to page 10. Remember-whatever you do decides your fate in America! You might fall in with a gang of thieves, or be adopted by a wealthy man and become a famous doctor!

What happens next in the story? It all depend on the choices you make. How does the story end? Only you can find out! And the best part is that you can keep reading and rereading until you've had not one but many incredible daring experiences!
