Work Description

Anna Galloway has arrived on the sparsely populated North Beach Peninsula in Washington State to continue her career in nursing, but there is no hospital and the only doctor, Dr. Wesley Snow, is brusque and judgmental. Anna doubts she can stay, though she knows that this is a place where her skills are very much in need.

But Anna doesn't just want to be needed, she wants to be loved. Peter Fielding, a young widower, needs her to mother his two children, but can he offer her love? It is Peter who introduces her to the wild, untamed land, but it is the brooding Dr. Snow who, though scorning Anna's prayers for her patients, seems to have captured her heart. '

Should Anna give up her dreams of marriage and family and be content with her nursing career? She is hoping that God will not only lead her in the right direction but will teach her to trust that small voice that says: "Be still and know that I am God..." Psalm 46:10.
