Text begins: "At a most numerous and respectable meeting of the friends of the abolition of the slave trade, held at the Freemasons' Hall on Friday the 17th June, 1814 ... the following resolutions were unanimously adopted."

Meant to accompany a letter beginning "Sir, you will no doubt have seen, with feelings of disappointment and deep regret."
