"Initialerna i detta arbete äro förminskade faksimil af det alfabet, som Bartholomaeus Ghotan använde i 1492 års upplaga af Birgittas revelationer. Slutvinjetterna hafva kopierats på birgittinska klostersigill, pilgrimsmärken, vapen, m. m. ... Förutom en upplaga af 10 exemplar på äkta japanskt papper (numr. I-X) är arbetet tryckt i 200 numr. ex. hvaraf detta är nr 77."
