Campbell County, Kentucky has two county courthouses in simultaneous use. One is located in Alexandria, the other in Newport. These marriage bonds were recorded in Newport, Kentucky, from 1870-1872. They were transcribed from the microfilm of the original documents.Marriage bonds were a precursor to the modern marriage license.
