Forrest Theatre, Walnut Street, between 11th and 12th. Laurence Rivers, Inc. presents "The Green Pastures," a fable by Marc Connelly, production designed by Robert Edmond Jones, play staged by the author, Pulitzer Prize play, 1930. "The Green Pastures" was suggested by Roark Bradford's southern sketches, "Ol' Man Adam an' His Chillun".
