Title devised by cataloger.
On verso, the delivery address is "Rev. A. A. Phelps, Boston, Mass." It was postmarked with a brown circular stamp that reads "Salem Mas. Mar 16".
It is stamped, "PHELPS MSS." in the head- fore corner of the first page.
Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed in black ink on white paper with an embossed octagonal logo in the head- spine corner. The embossed octagon contains the image of a crown above the word "BATH." Above the salutation, the number "22" is written in pencil. On the third page, towards the spine edge of the signature, there is a hole measuring about 1.7 x 1.5 cm, and another hole towards the fore edge of the signature, extending about 1.2 cm from the edge of the page.
