(From text) Philadelphia. After the ending of the conferences between Scarroyady and some of the people called Quakers, the three Indians, Newcastle, Jagrea, and William Locquies, being prepared to set out for Wioming, the governor (who, during these conferences, received messages from the governor of New-York) delivered them the following message to the Delaware and Shawanese Indians, living on Sasquehannah, viz. [dated April 26, 1756]

Minutes of the treaty proceedings between the province of Pennsylvania and neighbouring Indian tribes attended by the lieutenant governors, Robert Hunter Morris or William Denny. Present were Teedyuscung and the representatives of the Ten Nations, comprising of the Six Nations [the Mohawk, Oneida, Onondaga, Cayuga, and Seneca peoples, and the Tuscarora of North Carolina], with the addition of the Delaware, Shawnee, Nanticokes, and Mahicans.
