Dorothy B. (Beatrice) Stratton was born on July 8, 1889, in New York City, the daughter of Thomas Charles Cox Stratton (born May 28, 1844 in Montreal, Quebec and Caroline "Carrie" Simpson, b. Oct. 4, 1845 in Hudson, Columbia County, New York). Dorothy Stratton married William Frederic May (born January 5, 1889 in Lead, South Dakota) on December 8, 1915 and died in Los Angeles California in 1945.
