The words in this book were written to be spoken as commentary on the photographs, which were filmed as motion pictures. Both formed the substance of the series of four half-hour television films entitled Rome eternal, produced jointly by the National Council of Catholic Men and the National Broadcasting Company, and twice released on "The Catholic hour."
