Nicholas Sparks has made this into a great book, like many of his countless other inspiring novels. Recently this book has been producted into a movie starring Channing Tatum as John and Amanda Seyfried as Savannah. Hopefully this movie will turn out to be the best of the book.

Work Description
John, a high school dropout, enlists in the Army not knowing what else to do with his life. While in the Army he meets Savannah, they fall in love and she awaits his return from the Army.
