Work Description

I am the author and illustrator of this book. The publisher is long defunct and since it was written in 1968 and published in 1969 I am the absolute owner of all copyrights for its content. I still own about ten or fifteen " new" books. I had invented a bedtime story for my young daughter and she urged me to make it into a book. I did the original watercolors for this book and soon found a publisher who was fascinated by the fact that I included a page of " scientific facts, then known about dolphins. Woods Hole Oceanograhic Institute signed off on this book as scientifically accurate and therefore made it suitable as as teaching book for parents and teachers. I am considering reissuing this book. I am presently a landscape painter near Philadelphia. See www.letvenart.com
