Naras Kimono (born Naras Kimono Strickland on August 23, 2004) is an American author and artist from Chicago, IL. She has been writing short stories and illustrating graphics since she was very young, and made her professional writing debut as a contributing author on the fourth installment of the Reviews by Cat Ellington book series. When she’s not writing, creating characters, or drawing, Naras enjoys reading, watching Nickelodeon, studying dog breeds, cooking, listening to music, drinking chai tea, and engaging in various outdoor activities. Naras Kimono lives in Chicago with her parents Joseph Strickland and Cat Ellington, her two brothers Nathaniel and Nairobi, and the family's pet Pomeranian, Aspen.
