Vol. 2 issued in two parts, each with special t.-p., dated 1759 and 1770 respectively, to which were added with general t.-p., dated 1771, the editor's preface and translation of Trew's history of Gesner's work.

Imprint varies: general t.-p. of v. 2 and special t.-p. of v. 2, fasc. 2 have imprint: Norimbergae, impensis A.L. Wirsingi.

DDO copy varies from L.C. copy. T.-p. of v. I: "...Opera botanica per dvo saecula desiderata vitam avctoris et operis historiam Cordi librvm qvintvm cvm adnotationibvs Gesneri in totvm opvs vt et Wolphi fragmentvm historiae plantarvm Gesnerianae adivnctis indicibvs iconvm tam olim editarvm qvam nvnc prodevntivm cvm figvras [etc]", with date of 1754, cf. Nissen 700.

V. 2 of DDO copy has the 2 parts bound in reverse order. Fasc. II of 1770 is bound in before fasc.I of 1759.
