Work Description

A political-military novel centered around the fictional Isle of St. Margaret's, about to become independent April 15, 1973. The protagonist and his girlfriend arrive there on the run from the Mob, soon discovering that life can be more deadly here than back in the states.

This is a story of love and war....as well as a close up look at the process of Nation-building now going on in the Third World. The first of what so far is a two volume series [with a third being written]. The author relies on his eleven year s' experience working for the government of a remote Pacific island.
