The writer of this letter expects to leave tomorrow and will be at Chauncy Place on Friday. The writer describes the beautiful scenery of his/her present abode. In human affairs, "Liberty & equality reign." Describes a visit to some New York acquaintances who have a baronial castle on Elm Lake, built 50 years ago by a German nobleman.
