Poster announces the judgement in the libel case brought by Friedrich Ebert against the editor Erwin Rothart of Stassfurt who accused Ebert of treason. Rothart was sentenced to 3 months imprisonment for the libel but Ebert was declared technically guilty of treason for participating in a general strike in Berlin although no historical or moral judgement on Ebert's conduct was given by the court. Verdict was pronounced in Magdeburg, Germany on December 24, 1924.
