"Life of John Milton": p. [1]-50.

On the leaf conjugate with the errata leaf occurs the publisher's "Prospectus of a new and splendid edition of Paradise lost" (2 p.) with a half-page wdct. signed "G. Cruikshank del" showing Britannia with a cap of liberty standing by a printing press (cf. Cohn (1924) 559). The proposed edition, to be published in about 6 weekly nos., with no. 1, 1 Dec. 1821, never materialized.
