Roberta H Bridenbaugh

Roberta H Bridenbaugh (22 Oct 1902-Mar 1996)

Roberta Haines Herriott, born in New York on 22 October 1902, was the second wife of Colonial America historian and Professor at Brown University, Carl Bridenbaugh (1903-1992).

They collaborated together on Carl's research and co-authored at least two books "Vexed and Troubled Englishmen" (1968), and "No Peace Beyond the Line" (1971).

She survived her husband Carl, who died of cancer at the age of 88 on 6th January 1992 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, where they had lived but she died there aged 93 years in March 1996.
