Includes petitions from King's, Queen's and Prince Counties, and the Grand Jury of Prince Edward Island, to have the Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island, Charles Douglass Smith, recalled for abusing his position in the Court of Chancery in the matter of collecting quitrents. These petitions were collected by, among others, John Stewart.
